He has won two titles on the ATP Tour; one at the 2017 Marrakech Open and another at the 2018 Chengdu Open. In addition, he reached the semi-finals of both Masters 1000 tournaments; the 2018 Indian Wells Masters and 2019 Miami Masters.
Off court, Coric is an avid fan of football, supporting English Premier League club Arsenal F.C., as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid C.F.. His hobbies include golfing and playing video games, particularly FIFA 20.
In 2016, Coric signed with sports apparel company Nike for a four-year endorsement deal to wear their products on and off court, he later signed with Asics. He also has endorsement deals with luxury watch brand Tag Heuer and string maker Luxilon as well as sponsorships from Budweiser, Wilson Racquet Sports and Puma shoes amongst others.
Coric is known for his excellent defense as well as his powerful forehand which have been described by experts and commentators alike as one of the best in men’s tennis today. He uses a combination of flat groundstrokes along with a slice backhand to keep his opponents on their toes during rallies while also keeping them guessing with drop shots when they least expect it.
Away from tennis, Coric gave back to his hometown recently by helping to fund an academy for aspiring young tennis players to get them into professional tennis just like him. The Borna Coric Foundation will help provide resources such as high quality equipment and coaching to young players looking to become professionals like Borna himself did over six years ago now.
Overall, Borna Coric has proven himself time and time again that he can compete against some of the best players in men’s tennis today while still having success away from the court too by giving back to his community with his foundation which looks set to help many young players fulfill their dreams like he did all those years ago when it all started for him back home in Croatia.
Borna Coric used to date Croatian model, beauty queen and host Valentina Miletic; they dated for six years before splitting up in 2016. Rumors about a possible new love emerged in June 2017, after Borna posted a photo of him with sister Bruna and a stunning brunette later identified as Tea Loncar.
Tea from Mostar, Croatia and a graduate of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management is apparently a close friend of Borna’s sister, and she didn’t seem to be dating her famous brother.
Having said that, Borna has a close relationship with his sister, to some [eople, their closeness is a bit uncomfortable, some said they have some sort of Lannister bond, but Borna doesn’t care about that and refers to his sister as his best friend.
Bruna Coric born in Zagreb, graduated in 2013 from X Gymnasium Ivan Supek. She later attended Zagreb School of Economics & Management.
Later went to St. Thomas University from where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration and a master’s degree in management from Regent’s University London. Bruna played tennis when she was much younger, but later quit to pursue dancing, however, it was thanks to her that Borna took tennis.
