Gael Monfils, one of the top tennis players in the world, has been a force to be reckoned with since making his professional debut back in 2004. Born on September 1st, 1986 in Paris, France, Gael began playing tennis as a youngster and quickly rose up the ranks. He is known for his athletic approach to the game and is often referred to as the “slider” due to his agile agility and fast footwork.
Gael’s career highlights include two ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles at Canada and Paris-Bercy; a runner-up finish at Monte Carlo; reaching the quarterfinals at both Wimbledon and the US Open; winning multiple Davis Cup matches for France; and having 7 consecutive years inside of the Top 20 rankings (from 2009-2015). Monfils peaked at a career high ranking of World No. 6 back in 2016.

Elina Svitolina is a Ukrainian professional tennis player who has been ranked as high as No. 3 in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings, making her one of the most successful female athletes from Ukraine. Svitolina is currently the highest-ranked Ukrainian women’s player and has won 15 WTA singles titles to date.
Svitolina began playing tennis at the age of five and went on to win numerous junior titles before turning professional in 2010. She made her WTA main-draw debut at the Luxembourg Open in 2011 and went on to reach the quarterfinals of her first Grand Slam tournament, the French Open, two years later. Over the course of her career, she has reached six Grand Slam semifinals and won three Premier Mandatory tournaments, including back-to-back titles at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in 2017 and 2018.
In 2019, Svitolina was nominated for both the Laureus World Sports Awards and ESPY Awards after finishing runner-up at Wimbledon that year. In addition to her success on court, she also serves as an ambassador for UNICEF Ukraine, helping children living with disabilities enjoy sports activities. Off court, Svitolina is a fashion icon who regularly appears at prestigious events such as Royal Ascot in London and The Met Gala in New York City.
In 2020, Svitolina achieved her career-best season by reaching No. 3 in the world rankings while becoming only one of four players to reach four consecutive WTA finals that year — a feat which earned her a nomination for Women’s Tennis Association Player of The Year Award.
